The 1972-1974 Challengers were only available with bucket seats and rear bench in all vinyl covers, vinyl/cloth combination or leather like in the early models were canceled. The changes in the model years were the texture and the available colors of the seat covers. While the seat inserts were textured in a rough Ranger (´72) or Empire (´73-´74) pattern, the seat skirt came with a smoother Coachman (Shallow Coachmann for ´74) structure. (see sample below)
The interior panels, dash board and carpets and headliners came either in black or correspondent colors to the ordered seat covers.

There was basically one standard trim for Challenger and Rallye with the two spoke steering wheel, bucket seats, and molded, colored plastic door- and side panels. The Rallye came standard with the Rallye instrument cluster and floor mounted shifter with console. All other option like powerwindows, air condition, radios etc. are listed in the options section of this site. Challengers were already equipped with 4 automaticly rolling seat belts and 2 front-seat shoulder belts as standard.

The photo above showes Rallye instrument-cluster and slap-stick shifter option. The woodgrain inserts in the dash came standard with the Rallye instruments while Standard Challangers had black plastic instrument cluster like shown below.
