This is my 1973 Challenger. It is a 318ci Base Challenger in original factory condition. It was sold in May 1974 in Long Beach, California, but it is a 1973 model year and already produced in the end of 1972, as shown on the inner door tag. The first owner kept it nearly 23 and sold it to a dealer in 1997, who sold the car right to a german guy, that shipped the vehicle to germany an stored it in a garage, waiting to became a hot rod or custom project. Then I bought the car in early 1999 while I was actually looking for a 1970 model. Due to the fact that there a not so many Challengers in Germany I had a look at all opportunities and this car hits me as it has that typically 70th look and the original condition that I was looking for. It is more design and originality than power that I am searching for, therefore I will keep the car in it´s condition and only will make the necessary make up. - Right at the time when I prepared to restore and replace all of the worn parts I moved from Germany and left my car behind, where it is once again garaged for a while.
